In 1987, when the first issue went to print, Buckmasters Magazine sought to promote hunting as an effective wildlife management tool while educating our readers on topics on all aspects of hunting white-tailed deer.

Buckmasters magazine is published five times a year: monthly issues from July through November.

The Bear & Son Cutlery 263R Small Rosewood Hunter is an American-made knife built for hunters and trailblazers. The 2-7/8-inch 440 stainless steel blade holds its edge, is easy to sharpen, and resists rust. The clip-point blade allows users to cleanly cut hard-to-reach places and serves as a general-purpose cutting tool. The Rosewood handle provides a traditional look, yet offers confident control with or without gloves. A nickel silver finger guard provides additional control for the toughest jobs. A handmade leather sheath is included with the 263R Small Rosewood Hunter.

Over the years I have and still enjoy Buckmasters Whitetail Magazine. It’s always a pleasure reading other hunter’s stories, learning from others, as well as learning about critical issues both politically and environmentally. As for the Rosewood Bear & Son Cutlery small knife. Great American made product that became a special gift for my son as his first knife.
